Title: Director of Revenue and Sales
Company: Skyline Management
Location: Northwest Arkansas
About Skyline
Skyline Management is an association management and advisory firm that serves as an embedded operating partner to mission-driven nonprofit organizations serving the built environment industry.
We work with a limited number of clients so we can go deep, take ownership of outcomes, and deliver consistent, high-quality results. We do not operate as a task-based vendor; we function as an extension of our clients’ teams and are accountable for performance.
Skyline is a lean, growth-oriented firm where high performers can build systems, shape strategy, and contribute directly to the long-term growth of both the company and its clients.
Overview
Skyline Management is hiring a Director of Revenue and Sales to drive meaningful revenue growth across a portfolio of mission-driven organizations.
The primary responsibility of this role is generating and securing revenue through sponsorships, partnerships, memberships, event participation, and donor engagement across Skyline’s client portfolio. These organizations deliver strong value and meaningful impact, but their revenue potential is not yet fully realized. This role exists to close all gaps.
This opportunity is ideal for a relationship-driven revenue leader. We seek someone who will build trust across an industry while consistently converting relationships into financial support. Revenue generation is a core expectation. The right candidate will be comfortable establishing new relationships, cultivating opportunities, garnering financial commitments, and maintaining lasting ties.
This is a hybrid-remote position based in Northwest Arkansas. Skyline is a collaborative team and regular in-person engagement is expected, including weekly in-office meetings, strategic planning sessions, and coordination with leadership and teammates; however, the role requires a high degree of personal initiative, self-management, and comfort working autonomously much of the time. This role requires someone who can work independently with strong personal initiative while also taking direction well, aligning with organizational priorities, and contributing actively within a collaborative, high-accountability team environment.
Why This Role Matters
Skyline’s clients rely on sponsorships, partnerships, programs, and donor support to deliver meaningful impact within their industries and communities. This role ensures those efforts are supported by strong, sustainable revenue and long-term strategic relationships.
Success in this position means building trust, creating alignment, securing meaningful financial support, and helping mission-driven organizations grow stronger over time.
Core Responsibilities
1. Build and Maintain Industry Relationships
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, donors, members, and stakeholders
Engage consistently with industry leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals across the built environment ecosystem
Represent Skyline and its clients with professionalism, credibility, and emotional intelligence
Build long-term partnerships that strengthen over time through consistency, responsiveness, and trust
2. Drive Revenue Growth
Secure corporate sponsorships tied to programs, events, and strategic initiatives
Grow annual and recurring sponsorship commitments, with a strong focus on retention and renewal
Expand revenue across membership, events, partnerships, and donor engagement
Identify and develop new partnership and sponsorship opportunities
3. Convert Relationships into Revenue
Ask directly and confidently for financial commitments
Move opportunities forward through thoughtful follow-up and disciplined execution
Close sponsorships, partnerships, and donor commitments in a timely manner
Maintain accountability to defined revenue goals and organizational priorities
Maintain professionalism, persistence, and forward momentum even in the face of rejection, delayed decisions, or unsuccessful asks
4. Communicate Value and Impact
Clearly articulate the business value of sponsorship investments, including visibility, positioning, relationship access, and strategic alignment
Communicate the mission-driven outcomes that sponsorship and donor support makes possible
Seek first to understand stakeholder priorities, motivations, and goals before presenting opportunities
Identify meaningful alignment between organizational goals and sponsor interests
Translate complex organizational value into clear, compelling stories tailored to different audiences and decision-makers
5. Build Sustainable Revenue Systems
Maintain a disciplined CRM and pipeline management system
Identify, prioritize, and systematically pursue high-value prospects
Translate strategy into organized, consistent execution across clients and stakeholders
Embrace network technology and AI-enabled workflows as force multipliers for research, organization, communication, and disciplined follow-through
Support and activate board members and volunteer leaders in revenue generation efforts
Contribute to building repeatable systems that support long-term growth and reduce dependence on one-time opportunities
What We’re Looking For

The strongest candidates for this role understand that successful revenue development is ultimately about people, trust, alignment, and execution.
